My version of Cutepolish's Animated Cartoon Nails

Hello! It's nice to be here again. It took me few months to think if I should continue blogging or just focus on my Facebook fan page. But I couldn't just let this new hobby slip away. And so now I'm back! :)

My nails today are inspired by a tutorial video by Cutepolish. She do tutorial videos and posts them on Youtube.
And here is her latest post.

I always wanted to do the bordered nails and after watching this video, I feel the urge to make it.
And here it is.

I used different colors to see the effect. And it looks good! I loved it on yellow and blue.
I like this on my nails too. :) ♥

VDay Mani 1 - Black with Pink Heart and Dots

Valentines day is nearly coming and people all over the globe celebrate this special day with their loved ones.

And heart is the best image that symbolizes this day.
Here is the second VDay mani I made. The first didn't work out well so I didn't post it. It was a disaster design so I decided to make another one.

Black is my base, then I made the hearts using a brush. I just added some dots and then it's done. Easy as that.

I admit I'm not a pro nail artist. I am not yet. But I know someday I will be. So I keep on trying until I become one of the best (in my dreams).

The Famous RECOM Logo Inspired Nail Art

Happy Monday everyone!

I have here a new design which I made in honor of our Mayor. This logo is so popular you can see it everywhere in the City.
The trademark logo was popularized by Caloocan City Mayor Enrico "RECOM" Echiverri.
It is a smiley face with moustache as similar to the Mayor's.

My friend and I was sitting all day thinking of new ideas to do on our nails and I can't remember anymore if it is me or him who suggested this design but we're so glad we finished it.

Here's my male friend's (he's male but he loves it when I paint his nails) hand. I did the design with shaky hands. Sorry if it's not really good this is my first time doing it. :D

Thank you for reading, till next time! ♥

Careline Classic Nail Polish No. 65

Hello! It's a sunny Thursday here in the Philippines. The weather is so hot. And to lessen my boredom I've decided to try one of two Careline Classic Polish bottles I bought just last night for only P10.00 / 0.25$ at a local drugstore. It comes in easy-to-carry 7ml. mini bottles which is so cute to look at.

This is No. 65, a shiny metallic pink which I think suits best for teenagers and feeling teenager like me. :D

But I love pink and i think it looked good on my hand (sorry bout that smudge).

If you will look closely at this photo, you will notice that shorter nail on my left index finger. I accidentally broke it earlier this morning and it made me really sad. :'(

This was taken right after I dabbed my finger on my not-so-completely dry polish because I want that fingerprint look but it didn't look well in this photo except that on my thumb.

NailsBeDonebyIRHALIE - Nail Art Designs for Beginners

I was in high school when I started liking nail polish. Until I grew up, it is always first on my accessory list leaving make-up behind (I only put make-up when needed).

But I only started doing nail art just last year. My cousin once made me see a tutorial on +YouTube. And then suddenly I told myself I can do it. Seems easy to do. I guess. But being a beginner didn't give me much luck. So I started on few colors.

This is my first attempt, with the help of my cousin of course. I used her polish bottles since I don't have new ones. Heart is my favorite design. I love hearts. I do also have a mini collection of stuffs with heart designs. ♥

Most imported nail polish brands are bit expensive here in the Philippines that's why we only use local brands. Even though local and very cheap, we get the satisfaction we are looking for. And it doesn't matter what brand you have as long as the design is nice.

This is my second attempt. I tried the dots using black and red colors alternately.

Then my cousin bought a new cracking polish, which I tried of course. I used it with a gold color and it was nice.

My next nail art attempt is water marbling design. And of course I got the idea from YouTube tutorials (Oh how I love those people who post tutorials). In this one I used red and metallic silver.

Here I used red and white. The colors slightly mixed into each other so I got the color pink. What a nice combo. :)

The next design made me crave for an ice cream. I got many compliments with this design though it doesn't look much better in this photo.

That's when I started doing random designs.

These two are my favorites because they are my own designs. And I am proud that they looked nice.

More designs on my next post. ♥
